bookmyspot is a free webapp that helps people in Metro Vancouver find others to play sports with.

Currently, this supports multiple popular badminton venues around Metro Vancouver.
I can add new venues/sports if there is interest!

I made this app because I felt the current system of people posting about events on facebook groups might not be super friendly to the organizer or anyone who wants to join. The organizer has to keep track of multiple DMs and anyone seeing the facebook posts doesn't know if the spot has already been filled or not.

I intentionally made it as a simple website because I feel Meetup apps are extremely bloated and have way too many features that we never use. This does one thing and tries to do it well. You can access this from desktop or mobile. Anyone can create an event and anyone can apply. If an existing event gets filled up, its not shown anymore. There's an event chat where all event participants can chat about general stuff.
